Through some intimate testimonials given by Palestinians in Lebanon, this installation shatters the deafening silence surrounding the realities of a group of human beings whose only crime was to be born refugees. Palestinians in Lebanon talk openly about their hopes, dreams, aspirations, identities, and futures. They unveil gripping stories of survival and resilience and overcome prejudice and hardship by embracing life. Guided by their strong moral values, and their deep longing to return to Palestine, these individuals ask for no favour in their struggle to gain dignity and respect.
In-Justice is curated by Bashar Abu Saifan and will be exhibited at Dar El-Nimer between May 22nd and June 5th, 2019.
