When Antoine Kabbabe finished his book "The Last Scene", he felt capable of using the camera to express the golden days he had lived. He began filming a documentary about Hamra Street without any prior script. As he walked through the street, he revisited the beautiful days, recalling every corner, shop, restaurant, hall, and cinema—reviving the memories shared by his generation. He relied on films and photos from his personal archive, resulting in a documentary film. He personally handled the filming, editing, and directing. This was his first film, followed by seven more documentary works.
The screening will be followed by a conversation and a book signing of "The Last Scene" with the director.
