‘Zakira’ by the Image Film Festival Association

ZAKIRA - the Image Festival Association organises a photography exhibition in the memory of Lebanese photojournalists who covered the Lebanese Civil War between 1975 and 1990

The exhibition displays selected photos that chronicle the Lebanese war at various stages and various locations. These photos, many of which were uncovered from forgotten archives, represent a visual memory of and an honest testimony on the pains and horrors that stretched over the demarcation lines.

The exhibition runs at Dar El-Nimer until April 27th, 2019
