Milk Brothers by Kenza Tazi

In Fez - Morocco, the Foundouk of breastfeeding symbolizes female solidarity, where women help new mothers by nursing abandoned children, Meriem, a young single mother, develops a deep bond with Karam, an orphan left at the Foundouk. Despite her request to raise Karam alongside her son being denied due to societal stigma, Meriem remains determined to preserve their unique connection.

Kenza Tazi
After six years of studying cinema at La Sorbonne in Paris and MetFilm School in Berlin, Kenza Tazi graduated as a Director of Photography. She has worked in various roles across multiple short films, music videos, and TV movies. 

This screening is part of the 17th Arab Film Festival in partnership with Nadi Lekol Nas.
